We are looking for a way to turn off password protected sharing either programmatically or through some type of scripting cmd, powershell, etc. We can obviously change the option using the radio button but we have not been able to determine what setting s are being changed under the hood. Is it possible to set Turn off password protected sharing without using the user interface?
Does Microsoft lock out this from being changed except through the UI? I have found suggestions for the following and I have tried all and nothing seems to turn off password protected sharing.
